B Sakthi Prabhakar Clinched the Title in Akshaya Repubic apartments Chess Tournament. (15th August 2024)

Participated in 30th TN State Championship held at Dharmapuri. Our Team Isai Nila Chess Academy consists of Myself B Sakthi Prabhakar, R Srivatsan, Mrs Malarvizi Hariharan, Maheswaran, Fide Master. We came 15th place out 120 Teams in TN. Wonderful experience, guidance from our Guru Mr Hariharan, Fide Trainer, Former National A player, Former All India Chess Federation and Tamil Nadu State Secretary.

Participated Tamil Nadu Veteran 50 above chess tournament, Kancheepuram during July 2024. Got the 5th place in the State. Wonderful experience, after 30 years I played the tournament, I only to AL Kasi, (T Nagar Chess Academy – VRS from Post Office – Leading coach in Chennai/Tamil Nadu) who is the winner of this event.

Mr. Raghunathan our academy well wisher passed away. Recently he donated Demo folding Chess Sets to our academy.

2 and 3: Mr Venkatesan Ramalingam played in a rating tournament.

USA Student Riya got prizes in the local tournament. Few lichess tournament organized for our academy players.

Advaith vedanth father, player cum Fide approved Chess coach. He is in Singapore, He came to our academy and played with Aravind Madhan and game resulted in draw (actually winning game for Mr Praveen) . He donated Laptop, Big size TV etc to our academy.
